Avoid Social Stress by Making Friends with Good People

Your life is largely determined by the people along with you. If you are running with a wolf, you’ll learn how to howl. But if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar in the sky.
Please refer to Proverbs 13:20 in the Bible which said “He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm”.
Social Stress is meant to be stress arising from relationship with other people.
Person’s face is reflected by the mirror, but what you really are mirrored by those who associate closely with you – whether it’s good or bad.
Believe it or not: one of the major stressors and nearly all the sadness comes from the relationship with the wrong people. The less you deal with negative people, the more progress you can achieve and the less social stress you will have.
Every time you compromise with the lack of other people, then you’re increasing your shortcomings. You would better to stay alone than to make friends with wrong or bad people and end up with increasing your social stress level and starting to use alcohol for stress relief.
If a lazy does not make you feel annoyed, maybe it is a sign that you’re just like him.
If you feel two steps back every time trying to make one step of progress, it could be because you have mixed the good and bad relationships in your life.
Choose who will become your close friends carefully. Good friends will bring you happiness but bad friends will bring you social stress and sadness.
Moreover, having fun out of making friends with good people will help relieve your current stress whatever the causes.
Ancient proverb says, “People who lie down with dogs will get up with their ticks”. Thomas Carlyle said,” Show me someone who you respect, and I will know what people you are like, because it shows me your ideal human figure, and that you want to be like that”.
After all, it is your decision whether you want to make friends with eagle or wolf.
